Child artiste Tinku is well-known among the film circuit for starring in films like Anbulla Rajinikanth and Kamal’s Japanil Kalyanaraman. He is presently a busy television actor with mega serials like Thirumathi Selvam and Kolangal. This small screen artiste has said that he nurses a strong desire to contest the state assembly elections from Thirumayam, Alandur, Avadi or Mayladuthurai from the Congress ticket.
Tinku says that he is an active member of the GK Vasan’s Congress Committee and has wide exposure to social service activities. When visiting the Congress headquarters Sathyamoorthy Bhavan in Chennai to submit his candidature, he was accompanied by 50 television serial artistes, which the actor feels shows his strength.
