With Maapillai all wrapped up, Dhanush is eager to see the reaction of the audience. It is a remake of Superstar Rajini film of the same name which had Amala as his pair. The music release for the film was a glitzy affair. All those who attended had nothing but positive things to say about the songs. There are some foot – tapping Kuthu numbers and a remix which are bound to be a rage among the youngsters.
Maapillai is to be released by Sun Pictures and they are going to promote it in a big way. The director is Suraj who did Padikathavan with the same producers and hero. It is hoped that the hit combination will be able to do an encore!
