Director Magizh Thirumeni, who is wielding the megaphone for the Arun Vijay starrer Thadaiyara Thaakka, wanted to capture a scene set in the market realistically. To make this possible, he and cameraman Sukumar of Myna fame decided to shoot the scenes in the busy Triplicane market despite the producer Feather Touch Entertainment arranging for a huge set to be erected as the director wanted a realistic feel to the scene.
The scene was well-rehearsed and all the cast and crew were given instructions to take positions unnoticed by the crowd. But things went out of hand with the crowd recognizing Arun Vijay and refusing to let go of the actor as they wanted to spend some time with him.
Finally, the director managed to can the scene with the help of the police and the crowd cooperated to the fullest.
