The Arun Vijay starrer, Thadaiyara Thaaka to be made by Feather Touch Entertainment had its pooja in the Palani Murugan temple at an auspicious time today. This is the third film produced by this company and the first two films also had their poojas in the same temple. The earlier films – Malai Malai and Maanja Velu also starred Arun Vijay and had good runs at the box office.
Superstition as well as sentiment convinced the cast and crew to conduct the Pooja at the same temple. Actor Arun Vijay, director Magilzh Thirumeni, DOP Sukumar, Art Director Prabhakar, Producers Dr. N. S. Mohan, Susil Mohan, and M. Hemanth plus the rest of the crew were present.
The title of the film, Thadaiyara Thaakka, derived from Kandha Sashti Kavasam dedicated to Lord Murugan means to smash all barriers. It has a special relevance to all involved in the project and also suits the mood of the film which is going to be a hardcore action entertainer.
The shoot for the film commences today in Chennai. Portions will also be shot in Pondicherry and Delhi. Hope the film smashes all records at the box office.
