Director SA Chandrasekar has announced that his film Sattapadi Kuttram will be released later this month. When addressing a press conference, he was asked if the film is made in support of J Jayalalitha, the AIADMK Supremo. To this, SAC replied that Sattapadi Kuttram deals extensively with the present political situation, social disparities and fundamentalists and has nothing to do with his political affiliations.
The director has said that his films, apart from the romantic ones, have mostly dealt with social issues and Sattapadi Kuttram will also follow the same route. This film has Sathyaraj, Seeman and Vikranth playing the lead roles.
