Rohit Shetty’s remake of Tamil movie ‘Singam’ is all set to go on floors from March 2 in Mumbai. The film has his close pal Ajay Devgn and South Indian actress Kajal Agarwal in lead roles and is produced by Reliance Big Pictures. According to the sources, the film’s action sequences will be more stunning than the original version as Rohit wants to have it in a bigger way.
Rohit Shetty utters that the very opening sequence of the movie involves a hand-against-hand combat between Ajay Devgn and gangsters involved in kidnapping. The sequence will be shot in a parking lot with 200 cars amongst which 20 cars will be blasted at the same time. Well, it’s worth recalling that Rohit gives more importance to action sequences even in his comedy flicks that are very much illustrating with ‘Golmaal Series’, ‘Sunday’ and ‘All the Best’.
Perhaps, the movie being an action-packed entertainer, Rohit should have envisaged of delivering action sequences in an incredulous way.
