Rajini's Kochadaiyaan is practically the most awaited film in the history of cinema especially after the health scare he suffered last year. On his return to India after undergoing treatment in Singapore, Rajini promised his fans that Kochadaiyaan will be a Diwali release. Now it seems that the film might not make it in time as promised.
The delay is being played down as Rajini fans are likely to be upset. Sources say that the reason for the delay is that Ajay Devgn's Son Of Sardar will also be a Diwali release and Sonakshi Sinha who is the hottest star in Bollywood after Prabhu Deva directed Rowdy Rathor, is the heroine. The makers feel that if Kochadaiyaan is also released at the same time as Son of Sardar, it may affect the collections North of the Vindhyas as Sonakshi is more popular than Deepika Padukone at present.
The producers however have dismissed these reports though they have not denied that there will be a delay. A spokesperson said that they will leave no stone unturned to deliver a perfect film for the fans and sometimes perfection takes time but the end result will be absolutely worth the wait and Rajini fans will not be disappointed.
