Malayalam actor Mohanlal, who starred In Unnai Pol Oruvan has been booked for the possession of ivory in his house. The possession was identified by the Income Tax department, when they raided the star’s house in 2010.
A case was filed by the forest officials on him and two others before the Chief Judicial Magistrate at Perumbavoor yesterday. The other two accused P N Krishnakumar and N Krishnakumar said that they have the permission to possess the ivory in question. They also revealed that they had handed over the ivory to Mohanlal, before going abroad.
