Neer Paravai is based on the dispute between Tamil Nadu fishermen and Sri Lankan coast guard. Udayanidhi Stalin is producing the film. It also stars Saranya Ponvannan, Samuthirakani, Anupama Kumar and Thambi Ramaiah.
