Actor Karthik, who is affectionately called the Navarasa Nayagan, was hospitalized on Saturday, following intense throat pain. Though his vital parameters are normal, he went through a series of scans and tests on Saturday.
The actor, after a break during which he made an active participation in politics, came back to acting. His last screen appearance was in Pulivesham. His son Gautham Karthik is making his debut in Mani Ratnam’s Kadal. We pray for the actor’s quick recovery.
