Venkat Prabhu recently announced his Biriyani with Karthi in the lead. Earlier, it was speculated that his next would be with Suriya after the stupendous success of Mankatha. How did he decide on younger brother over elder brother?
Venkat answered this question recently. He stated that Suriya is busy with Maatraan and Singham 2 and hence does not have dates till the end of both the movies. "I will work with Suriya, possibly after Maatraan and Singham 2 are over," he added. Meanwhile pre-production work for Biriyani is in full swing. Samantha has been roped in to play the female lead.
