Director Ameer, who was the active participant in the FEFSI issue, will be contesting for the post of President of the union in the FEFSI election that will happen tomorrow. Ameer initially had refused to contest in the election, but it is said that all 23 departments of FEFSI has like mindedly requested him to. Actor Visu had said that he would contest only if Ameer decides to. Now that Ameer has decided to, Visu will stand against him.
If Ameer is elected as President, it is likely that the salary issue will be brought to the notice of producers union again.
