Priyamani is making waves after a long hiatus from Tamil cinema. The actress will be seen next in a film called Charulatha. She is playing the title role in this film. This project is an adaptation of the Thai smash hit Alone with Marsha Wattanapanich. Newcomer, Ponkumaran who has assisted Bhagyaraj and KS Ravikumar will be directing this film. This is Ponkumaran's first film in Tamil but he has already established himself in the Kannada film industry.
Skanda, Seetha and Saranya Ponvannan are also part of the cast. Sundar C Babu is doing the music and the editing is by Donmax. This film will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Geetha Arts is producing this venture in Telugu, Dwarakish will produce in Kannada, and Ramesh Krishnamurthy the Tamil version.
