It is well-known that Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi’s friendship dates back to their early days in the film industry. So, when Rajiinkanth was unwell and admitted in the hospital, Chiru was worried about his friend’s health. Though he tried several times to meet Rajini at the Ramachandra Hospital, doctors and family members did not permit him for medical reasons.
When news came in that Rajini was discharged from the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre and is convalescing in an apartment in Singapore, Chiru flew down to Singapore to meet Rajini. The Superstar was very happy to meet his old friend after a long time, say sources close to him.
