The investiture ceremony of office bearers for the Tamil Film Directors Association which was to be held today at the Golden Paradise, Saligramam was stalled. Treasurer SP Jananadhan has asked former treasurer Sunderajan to turn over the completed accounts to him. Apparently the relevant books and documents should have been handed over earlier but there were certain discrepancies and hence the delay.
SP Jananathan said he will take the post only when the accounts are settled and the books are handed to him in order. This has delayed the investiture ceremony but it is believed that the delay will be a short one and this issue will be resolved soon.
