Two of the films released this month, Aaranya Kandam and Avan Ivan, are already generating National awards buzz. Thiagarajan Kumararaja's Aaranya Kandam has already won awards at the International film circuit and it is felt that it will win many more once the awards season comes around for direction, screenplay, dialogue, music, and for the performances.
Bala is no stranger to National awards and Avan Ivan has received some positive reviews. Vishal is believed to be a contender in the best actor category. Bala and Kumararaja may also compete in the best director category. Aaranya Kandam and Avan Ivan will definitely do the Tamil film industry proud.
