The last installment of Christopher Nolan's Batman series, The Dark Knight Rises, released all over India in more than 1000 screens on July 20th. In Tamil Nadu, the movie was distributed by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies.
Both the Batman and the antagonist Bane have wowed audiences and the opening weekend has netted 16.75 crores at the Indian box-office. But, this figure is lesser than the net opening of The Amazing Spiderman, 2012 and MI4.
This movie has been appreciated by youngsters all over India, particularly in the big cities and premium multiplexes. But, the dubbed versions haven't made the right connect. The future holds promise for The Dark Knight Rises as youngsters are likely to frequent theaters again and again for a repeat of this grand big screen experience.
