The Dark Knight Rises (TDKR) had a good run in its first week at the Indian box-office, as it netted 25.25 crores. The collections are better than recent hits like The Avengers and Mission Impossible 4. The English version of TDKR has been accepted as a classic in the cities and at premium multiplexes while the dubbed versions are limping.
The first week is third on the all time list of Hollywood blockbusters in India after The Amazing Spiderman and 2012.
