Handsome hunk Ganesh Venkatraman and Miss India World Parvathy Omanakuttan of Billa 2 fame sizzled the ramp on Day 1 of the Chennai International Fashion Week 2012 held at the Hyatt Regency in Chennai. This year, both actors are also the Brand Ambassadors and the face of the Fashion week which promises to be the biggest fashion week yet in Chennai city.
Walking as the showstopper for designer Ramesh Dembla from Banglore, Ganesh wore an open-chested Black Jodhpuri and had all the ladies in the house going weak on their knees. Ganesh walked the ramp to the tune 'Kalakku' a song from his upcoming Tamil film 'Panithuli' and carried it off in style with his signature charm and attitude..
Ganesh, who is currently shooting for a Tamil-Kannada Bilingual Film titled "Chandra" opposite Shriya Saran in Mysore, specially came down to walk the ramp.
When asked, the former Mr. India said "My love affair with the ramp is a very old one as I began my career as a model after winning the Gladrags Mr. India contest and then films happened eventually. But this time it is very special as I have been chosen as the Brand Ambassador of the Chennai International fashion week this year. I am happy to be associated with the Fashion week which promises to make Chennai a top notch fashion destination ", he signs off in style.
