Kamal Haasan expressed his sadness over the demise of Bollywood superstar, Rajesh Khanna and shared some of his memories of the star. He had met him when he was an upcoming actor and Khanna was already an established star and Kamal revealed that the latter had the kindness to treat him as a friend.
Khanna used to advise Kamal and sometimes the advise would be taken and sometimes it would not, Kamal said with a smile. He said that Rajesh Khanna was one of a kind and nobody can hope to achieve the kind of stardom and craze he enjoyed. Finally, he conveyed his condolences to Khanna's friends and family and said they will feel consoled in time.
