FEFSI Chief VC Guhanathan resigned from his post citing poor health conditions. VC Guhanathan had sent a letter to the FEFSI citing his inability to continue in the post. The FEFSI immediately convened a meeting in which it was unanimously decided to appoint MA Ramadurai as the chairman.
Further, it was also agreed to appoint director Ameer as the head of the negotiating committee to discuss the salary hike with the Producers’ Council and at the Film Chamber of Commerce.
