Om Obama is a seriously funny flick, says its writer-director Janaki Viswanathan. The story revolves around Kedarapalayam, a village that is gearing up for the American President Barack Obama’s visit.
It all begins with a politician claiming to have the support of Obama and says that he intends to visit the temple festival in order to defeat his arch rival in the local elections.
Om Obama is in the final stages of post production and will hit the theatres very soon. The film is produced under the banner Shruthika Foundation.
J Paul has scored the music and Vamshidharan has handled the camera. The cast includes Jamie Pierson, Ko.Vi.Manisekaran, Jaya Rao, Hariharasudhan, Ved Shankar Sugavanam, Amjad, Karthik, Banu Suresh, Nivedha Suresh, Reshmi Menon, Yogesh, Gopalakrishnan, Dakshinamurthy, Pushpalatha, Ramdas and MRG Raji.
