Megastar Chiranjeevi, who is now a member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly had announced that he will retire from films and devote himself to politics while his son, Ram Charan will carry on in his stead. But he changed his mind later when he met up with friend and fellow superstar Amitabh Bachchan at the premier show of Bbuddha... Hoga Tera Baap.
Amitabh told him to carry on and said that it was his personal wish to see him in more films. He even offered to do a guest role in his next film. Chiranjeevi acceded to his request and annonced his 150th film with Puri Jagannadh. Director Ram Gopal Varma, who was present asked him to do his 151st film with him.
