Director AR Murugadoss is busy with the
shooting of 7aam Arivu and gossipmongers
are actively speculating where he has drawn
his inspiration for this film. Some say
that the recently released Hollywood flick
Inception is similar to 7aam Arivu’s
storyline. This is vehemently denied by
the director and he justifies his stance
by saying that the movie has released recently
and he began shooting 7aam Arivu much before,
so there is no chance of drawing inspiration
from it.
Yet another group says that this film,
which has Suriya playing the lead role,
is similar to the Hindi film Chandini Chowk
to China and the Hollywood movie Perfume.
However, AR Murugadoss maintains that 7aam
Arivu is his brainchild.
