The
audio launch function of Naan Mahaan Alla was
held at Sathyam cinemas this morning. The film
directed by Suseendran of Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu
fame has raised a lot of expectations as this
is the director’s second outing after
the successful VKK and for hero Karthi too as
NMA follows his blockbuster Paiyaa.
The audio was released by director Hari and
received by Lingusamy. A song – kannoram
kaadhal vandadhu- and the trailer of the film
was screened for the audience. Other songs were
just played and all of them are of the highly
hummable variety, scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
The song that was screened was picturized well
and so was the trailer which had all the ingredients
of a potential hit film. The trailer consisted
of an action segment, a suspense section of
a dead body with police investigating and Karthi
running and a humorous piece with Kajal walking
with her dad and Karthi pursuing her from behind
and advocating arranged marriage to her dad.
The trailer evokes the curiosity to see the
film and suggests that NMA would be a perfect
film.
The luminaries who attended the function were
directors Vishnuvardhan, Vetrimaran, Lingusamy,
Hari, music director Devi Sri Prasad, Dayanidhi
Azhagiri of cloud nine films and NMA team comprising
of hero Karthi, heroine Kajal Agarwal, cinematographer
Madhie and others. The film is slated for 23rd
