Season 3 of the popular
talent hunt show, Airtel Super Singer, is
all set to begin. Vijay TV, which had aired
the previous two seasons, will be airing this
season too. A press note from Vijay TV reveals
that the prize money would be higher than
what it was earlier.
The auditions took place in Chennai recently
in which many young singers took part. Eight
members - Suvi Suresh, Dr. Lavanya, J.K.V.
Roshni, Krishna Iyer, Anitha, Sowmya, Ajeesh
and Ravi - were part of the jury for the
ground level audition. Noted singers S.P.
Shylaja, Unni Menon, Pop Shalini and Carnatic
vocalist Sowmya were the Judges for the
second level of the preliminary auditions
in Chennai.
Those interested could also send their
voice recorded on a CD/cassette or could
attend the ground audition that is set to
take place in the coming weeks at Trichy
and Coimbatore.
The press release states: “Srinivas,
Unni Krishnan and Sujatha would be the Judges
for the Airtel Super Singer 3.” Watch
