Silambarasan is all set
to star in the Tamil version of the Telugu
smash hit film Vedam. The film has been titled
Vaanam and will be directed by Krish, who
had wielded the megaphone in the original
version. Silambarasan will be playing the
role of Cable Raja and the promos released
today reveal a suave Silambarasan sporting
a trendy jean, paired with a sexy red T Shirt
with miles of cable wires strung around his
body giving a nonchalant look with a pale
blue sky as the background. Music for Vaanam
will be scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja while
camera and editing departments will be headed
by Nirav Shah and Anthony respectively. Vaanam
is being produced for VTV Productions and
Magic Box Pictures by VTV Ganesh and B Ramesh.
Silambarasan has also lapped up a project
with director Lingusamy. He is working on
the long-pending project Poda Podi, which
will be the debut vehicle for Sarath Kumar’s
daughter Varalakshmi.
