Rama Narayanan and his
team of contestants won the Producers’
Council elections. This team will assume office
for the next two years. Rama Narayanan is
winning this election for the third time.
The elections took place yesterday at the
Film Chamber building at Anna Salai. Several
actors and actresses, who are also the members
of the Producers’ Council, including
Rajinikanth, Sarath Kumar, Sathyaraj, Parthiban,
Bhagyaraj, Radhika Sarath Kumar, Poornima
Bhagyaraj, Soundarya Rajinikanth and others
stood in queue to cast their vote.
Rama Narayanan and team beat KRG and team
in this election. SA Chandrasekar and Anbalaya
Prabhakaran are the vice-presidents, Siva
Shakthi Pandian and K Muralidharan are the
secretaries and Kaja Moihdeen is the treasurer.
Speaking about his success, Rama Narayanan
said that the win is recognition for the services
he and his team had rendered.
