Aparna Pillai, the businesswoman
turned on and off actor, recently visited
the sets of Zee’s popular cookery show
Anjarai Petti. The crew celebrated its 200th
episode of the program and Aparna was invited
as a chief guest to be a part of the celebrations.
Incidentally, Aparna also produces the show
that takes the viewers across various towns
in Tamil Nadu, show casing the different foods
specialties.
Aparna stated that the response to Anjaraipetti
has been huge, particularly in the non-metro
centers of the state. “The fact that
we are able to replicate the cuisines of the
local area proves a big hit with the masses,
so much so that viewers want these recipes
in the form of a booklet. We cannot complain
about the enthusiastic involvement of our
viewers” she noted.
