Lingusamy has said that Vettai will be remade in Hindi and talks are on with Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor to play the roles essayed by Arya and Madhavan. Ever since this news started making rounds, there were a lot of speculations about the two heroines that would be cast.
It is now said that Sameera Reddy will get to play the same role she did in the Tamil version as she is a popular name in Bollywood. However, there is no official confirmation on this news.
