Director Rudran, who had won the best ad filmmaker award, is directing the film Vetri Selvan. This film is about three youth who have been rejected by the society and how they try to reform it. Ajmal plays the lead star in this film with Radhika Apte as his leading lady. Singer Mano, Sheriff and Ganja Karuppu will appear in important roles in Vetri Selvan.
Srushti Cinemas is producing this film. Mani Sarma has scored the music, cinematography is by Ramesh Kumar and Kishore is in-charge of the editing. The shooting of Vetri Selvan is fast progressing in areas like Thumkur, Mysore, and Coorg.
