Simran, we hear, was approached by director Balu Anand to play the female lead in his film titled Vaangi Kalyanam which will be a wholesome comedy and the actress has refused to act before even listening to the story. The actress has said that she would be busy producing films and hence cannot act anytime now. The director is extremely disappointed and says that she would have accepted it had she listened to the script narration. The movie will star Mansoor Ali Khan in an important role and several other comedians. Director Bala Anand is best known for his film Anna Nagar Mudhal Theru.
