Released at very limited screens (approximately 325 screens according to Bollywood trade reports), the film swept with a good opening at the box office spinning a collection of Rs.10.05 crores in the opening weekend. The reception has been fantastic across the urban areas, especially in metropolitan cities.
But previous week’s release Yamla Pagla Deewana has managed to retain a good position in box office by incurring 9 crores during its second week. The resplendent presence of Deol family has turned to be one of the biggest assets of this movie.
