Upcoming Thoonga Nagaram is the latest to join the list of films set in Madurai. But director Gaurav promises that the movie would be entirely different from the others. “There is no blood or gore in my film. It has been cleared with a “U” certificate,” says Gaurav.
The movie stars Vimal of Kalavani fame, Nishanth, Bharani and the director himself as friends who are thick as thieves. The movie also has Anjali of Angadi Theru fame as a local TV artist. Thoonga Nagaram’s main highlight would be director Ameer who does the introductory voiceover with his strong Madurai dialect.
Gaurav is also all praises for music director Sundar. C. Babu, who is supposed to have created some lovely melodies for the film and has used a symphony orchestra. The film that is produced by Dayanidhi Alagiri is all set to release on February 4th.
