The live concert by Yuvan Shankar Raja was a mega success with celebrities and his fans enjoying the evening on January 16th, 2011. It also turned out to be one of the rarest occasions in which Yuvan’s father and legendary musician Ilayaraja came on stage to render a song along with his son.
The siblings and cousins of Yuvan – Bhavadharini, Karthik Raja, Venkat Prabhu, and Premji Amaren sung their family song Ezhezhu Thalamuraikkum – Pannaipuram.
The celebrities that attended this live concert at YMCA Grounds in Chennai are Radhika Sarath Kumar, her two daughters, Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar, Naresh Iyer, Na Muthu Kumar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Vishnuvardhan, Lingusamy, Ameer, Arya, Jiiva, Vaibav, Krishna, Chennai 28 team, and others.
Singers including Shankar Mahadevan, Shreya Goshal, Karthik, Haricharan, Harish Raghavendra, Andrea, Rahul Nambiar, Vijay Yesudas, Tanvi, Suvi, Madhumita, and Bela Shende enthralled the audience by rendering some of the chartbusters scored by Yuvan.
