Actress Vega who has acted and won praises for her roles in Saroja and Pasanga is one of the lead actors in the multi-starrer Vaanam. It is common knowledge that Silambarasan's Vaanam is the remake of the critically acclaimed Telugu film Vedam directed by Krish, who is also directing the Tamil version.
