‘Supreme Star’ Sarath Kumar debuts as a solo hero in a Malayalam flick named Metro. Sarath Kumar, who won the hearts of Keralites with his role in Pazhassi Raja, says that Malayalam film industry is where finest films are made in a limited budget.
He plays the role of a cop in this film produced by Dileep, scripted by Vyasan Edavankad and directed by Bipin Prabhakar. Sarath is not new to playing cop roles and when quizzed about why he chose a movie with such a role again, he opines that the script had a realistic feel with no punch dialogues or romantic angle and his character Inspector Jacob Alexander is one of a kind.
The actor says he has offers from Kannada, Telugu and Hindi and that he will take them up soon. He is now working in two films in Tamil and will start campaigning for the TN assembly elections in April. Talking about multi-tasking, Sarath Kumar seems to take the cake.
