Siruthai seems to have got into trouble with the Nadar community objecting to the usage of the name ‘Rocket’ Raja in the film. Apparently, the pickpocket role played by Karthi is named ‘Rocket’ Raja and this happens to be the name of one of the Nadar community leaders.
The community members staged a protest in front of Karthi’s house demanding the name not to be used in the film, particularly on a pickpocket.
Police protection has been accorded to the star’s residence and the protestors were arrested. According to sources close to the Siruthai team, it is not right on the part of the protestors to stage an agitation even before the film’s release as they still do not know the true situation in which the name is used.
