The suicide of small-time comedy actress and television serial artiste Shobana at her residence in Chennai has shocked the film and television artistes. The police have been investigating on what led Shobana to opt for this extreme measure. While several theories like love failure, health issues and low income are being investigated, the police are yet to ascertain the real cause.
Moreover, Shobana’s mother Rani was not at home during the incident and when she returned home she found the front door open. The police are investigating if Shobana had guests when her mother was out.
