Pandiraj, who shot to limelight with his very first film Pasanga, has named his son Anbukkarasu. It may be recalled that Pandiraj’s wife gave birth to a son a couple of months ago. Interestingly, Anbukkarasu is the name of one of the characters in Pasanga and the boy who played that role went on to win the national award.
Pasanga won three national awards in 2010 under the categories Best Child Artist - Kishore & Sri Ram, Best Dialogues - Pandiraj and Best Feature Film in Tamil.
