Amala Paul was the initial choice for the film AR Murugadoss is producing along with a Hollywood production house. But the actress opted out of it at the last minute. When questioned about her decision to move out of the project, Amala said that she is quite busy with the Vikram-starrer, Vijay-directed film tentatively titled Deiva Magan and Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaiye with Atharva and Vettai with Arya and then a film directed by Pandiraj. All these commitments seem to have forced the actress out of the Murugadoss project.
Amala says that she explained her situation to Murugadoss before deciding to quit and the director-producer was very understanding and promised that they will get to work together sometime later.
