Vimal is currently one of the busiest actors in Kollywood with a number of films in his kitty. Though the actor’s first film was Ghilli, he was seen in a very small role in that film. Vimal’s break came with Pasanga directed by Pandiraj. The actor then did the comedy entertainer Kalavani and Vaagai Sooda Vaa receiving positive reviews.
He now has a number of films including Ishtam, Masala Café, Rendavathu Padam, Anaithukkum Aasaipadu, Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal and Sillunu Oru Sandhippu. Two more films are in the pre-production stages and they are Unmai Sonnal Nesippaya and Koothu.
