Siva Poojayil Karadi, directed by Rama Narayanan, is a remake of a Malayalam film that had Kalabhavan Mani playing the lead role. In the Tamil version, Mirchi Shiva essays his role. The film also has Vennira Aadai Murthy and MS Bhaskar in significant roles. It may be mentioned here that the trio - Shiva, Vennira Aadai Murthy and MS Bhaskar are teaming up once again in this film after Thamizh Padam. An official announcement regarding the female lead is expected to be made in a few days time. Sundar C Babu will score the music for Siva Poojayil Karadi, which is said to be a full-length comedy flick set in Malaysia.
