Director Rajesh teamed up with music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja for his first two ventures – Siva Manasula Shakthi and Boss Engira Bhaskaran – and both these films had some chartbusters and went on to become smash hits. This time around, Rajesh had roped in Harris Jayaraj to score the music for Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, a film that will mark the debut of producer Udayanidhi Stalin as hero in Kollywood.
This gave rise to a speculation on the relationship between Rajesh and Yuvan turning sour. However, Rajesh had clarified that he still enjoys a good rapport and friendship with Yuvan, thereby putting an end to all such rumors.
