It is already known that Vasantha Balan’s upcoming film Aravaan is a period film. The latest on this is that the movie is set in the 18th century, nearly 250 years ago. Set in the backdrop of Madurai and Tenkasi, the stars in the film will be mouthing their dialogues in the Madurai-Tenkasi dialect of that era. Though this is a tough task, the director is making sure that he gets the right accent from his stars to maintain the authenticity of the script.
Aravaan’s shooting is progressing at a rapid speed as Vasantha Balan is intent on releasing the film this August. The movie has Pasupathy, Aadhi, Dhansika, Kabir Bedi and Archana Jose Kavi in important roles. Aravaan is produced by Amma Creations’ T Siva.
