His commendable gesture during Filmfare awards ceremony made him an inspiration for his parents themselves. Having hosted the award function the actor was the showstopper with his humorous talks and funny gimmicks.
Soon after the show, Ranbir was to rush out, but was mobbed by fans, who were yearning to click pictures and get his autographs. Despite his exhaustions, the actor remained cool and made his fans happy.
The actor reveals that during his childhood days, he used to see many fans thronging outside his house to meet his parents. Since they were too busy with their commitments, his parents were unable to meet every fan. So he made up his mind that after becoming an actor, he would never disappoint his fans.
