Santhanam had earlier told during an event that he considers Simbu to be his godfather for giving him the all-important break in cinema thanks to movies like Manmadhan, Vallavan and Silambattam. He is filled with gratitude for his so-called mentor and doesn’t know how he will repay the favor to the ‘Young Superstar’.
Santhanam does have a proposition as his way of paying back. He says that whenever Simbu approaches him for a new movie, he would allot his call-sheet for that movie on priority basis. He doesn’t even mind putting his other films aside to accommodate Simbu. Even if that means infuriating other filmmakers, Santhanam doesn’t mind. That’s how highly the current comedy king considers Simbu.
