Bangalore lad Vinay Rai was the new chocolate boy in town post the resounding success of Unnale Unnale. After that, he wasn’t to be seen much in the Tamil industry. The Saran movie Modhi Vilayadu didn’t do much for him either.
In 2012, Mirattal, directed by R. Madhesh, was a decent commercial break for Vinay. He is now a busy star who is a part of films like Endrendrum Punnagai, Onbadhula Guru and few more.
He wishes to do a different villain role and is scouting for variety in the offers that he is getting. He doesn’t wish to get typecast in the same kind of roles and plans to move permanently to Chennai soon in the hope of working in good films.
