The two songs from Kadal, Nenjukulle sung by Shakthishree Gopalan and Elay Keechan crooned by ARR himself have taken the top two spots in the itunes chart. The two songs penned by Vairamuthu and his son Madhan Karky, are priced at Rs 12 each on itunes.
The complete album will be released on 17th December by Sony Music India, the music rights holder of Kadal.
The leads, Gautham Karthik and Thulasi Nair, who were kept under the shadows, were unveiled recently through the film’s first look posters. Directed and produced by Mani Ratnam, the film has Rajiv Menon’s cinematography and Sreekar Prasad’s editing. Arjun, Arvind Swamy, Lakshmi Manchu, Ponvannan, Thambi Ramaiah and Pasupathy form the ensemble cast list.
