Yesteryear romantic hero, who himself made a dream debut with Bharathiraja’s ‘Alaigal Oivathillai’, is hoping that his son Gautam Karthik too will receive the same platform.
While talking to the press recently, he said he really did not care much about his son’s first project only because he was under the purview of Mani Ratnam. Karthik has admitted that he has literally surrendered his son Gautam to Mani Ratnam to bring out the actor in him. The film will see yet another newcomer Thulsi Nair whose looks are kept under veil at the moment.
The first look posters of Kadal have just come out and carry the same artistic and romanticizing style of Mani Ratnam’s previous love stories.
